Brian Andrew Coate, raised in Omaha and residing in Lincoln since 2007, received his BFA from UNL in 2016, studying painting and drawing. With a basis in portraiture, Brian incorporates elements of the temporal, the supernal, the political, and the spiritual, to create ambiguous narratives and relationships within his work.
